The Dagoo Sled Dog Race is beginning its second season of running. The first Dagoo Sled Dog Race was the Dagoo 340, which was held in March 2007. (to view photos from last years event please follow the links in the right hand column)
The Dagoo 400 is a new distance sled dog race in the northern Yukon. The 2008 Dagoo 400 will again start at the Eagle Plain Lodge at km 376 on the Dempster Highway and run into the remote northern village of Old Crow. The race trail will follow the route for the Old Crow winter access road untill it meets the Porcupine River. There the trail will turn and follow the Porcupine river to the Village of Old Crow. There will be a mandatory layover in Old Crow and then the teams will be restarted out on the Porcupine River in front of the Village. From there the race trail will return to Eagle Plains Lodge.

The tentative race start for the 2008 Dagoo 400 wil be thursday April 3rd at the Eagle Plains lodge on the Dempster Highway.
